PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for passing an organic solvent, having a connection suffering no leak even after repeated pressure attachment and detachment and being excellent in the capability of tight attachment and the capability of detachment. SOLUTION: In an apparatus having a connection for members that are repeatedly subjected to pressure attachment and detachment from each other and having a structure for passing an organic solvent through the connection under elevated or reduced pressure, a method and apparatus for passing an organic solvent are provided which comprise using as the connection a fluororubber packing surfaced with a smooth skin layer and having closed cells in its inside. An example of the apparatus is an apparatus for measuring the solution viscosity of a polycarbonate resin.
