PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition which is excellent in oil resistance and mechanical properties, has a low compression set especially at high temperatures, has a good moldability, and gives a molded item of which the surface is tack-free. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (a) 100 pts.wt. block copolymer resin component, (b) 30-300 pts.wt. nonaromatic softener for rubber, (c) 10-300 pts.wt. peroxide decomposition-type olefin resin, (d) 0.5-5.0 pts.wt. organic peroxide, and (e) 1.0-10.0 pts.wt. cross-linking assistant. Ingredient (a) comprises (a-1) 85-15 wt.% block copolymer consisting of at least two polymer blocks A1 formed mainly from an aromatic vinyl compound and at least one polymer block B1 formed mainly from a conjugated diene compound and (a-2) 15-85 wt.% hydrogenated block copolymer prepared by hydrogenating a block copolymer consisting of at least two polymr blocks A2 formed mainly from an aromatic vinyl compound and at least one polymer block B2 formed mainly from a conjugated diene compound. |
