PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molded article capable of preventing the generation of unevenness on the surface of the thick-walled part of a product and an instrument panel for a car. SOLUTION: In a resin molded article (an instrument panel for a car) molded by a gas assisting injection molding method and having a gas channel 5 having a hollow part 9 provided to the rear surface of a thick-walled part 3 thereof in a projected state, an undercut 7 is provided on the side of the thick-walled part 3 of the gas channel 5 to form a rib 11 between the rear surface of the thick-walled part 3 and the hollow part 9.
