PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire electrical discharge machining device capable of completely detecting parts on which the disconnection easily occurs, clearly separating the state detection and the control, and sufficiently executing the necessary operation for preventing the wire disconnection. SOLUTION: A wire electrical discharge machining device capable of executing the work by generating the pulse discharge between a wire-shaped electrode 1 and a work piece 2, comprises an evaluating means 52 measuring a period, a frequency or a no-load time of the discharge, evaluating the dispersion of measured values, and outputting an evaluated value of the dispersion, and a control means 53 for controlling a working condition on the basis of the evaluated value.
