PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate material for a building having external appearance like a stone material capable of displaying a function such as sound absorption and heat insulation, and facilitating molding and execution. SOLUTION: Ceramic sound absorption plates 1, 1a, 1b are formed so as to have the external appearance like the stone materials, and used as the external facing material or the interior finishing material of a structure such as the buildings 3, 4, a wall side part 6 and a sound insulation wall 8. The attaching device of the plate material for the building juxtaposes a plurality of the plate material for the structure as the external facing material or the interior finishing material of the structure, is attached to the building frame of the structure, provided with a first member positioned rearward of the intersection point of the joint of the plate material for the structure provided in parallel and fixed on the building frame, and a second member connected to the first member, and the second member can be position-adjusted in the three orthogonal directions to the building frame.
