PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal for sealing which enables its removal without damaging an envelope, or the like, in peeling the seal applied to the surface of the envelope, or the like, and can readily be recycled without causing environmental pollution. SOLUTION: This seal is obtained by laminating a film 2 prepared by calendering a biodegradable resin on one side of a flexible sheet of paper 1 and coating a biodegradable adhesive 3 on the other side of the sheet of paper 1.
