PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizer effective for imparting an organic material with excellent discoloration resistance. SOLUTION: The objective piperidine compound useful as a stabilizer for organic material is expressed by formula (I) (R1, R2 and R3 are each independently H or a 2-18C acyl and at least one of the above groups is a 2-18C acyl; R4 is a 2-18C acyl).
