BIODEGRADABLE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable polylactate resin composition suited for the production of films and other moldings, being capable of perfectly degraded in the natural environment, and having flexibility and excellent transparency. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by mixing a polylactate resin with an aliphatic polyester resin having an SP value of 9.2-10.5 in a ratio of 95/5 to 50/50 by weight. The aliphatic polyester resin is one prepared by polycondensing a dicarboxylic acid and a diol represented by formulae I and II (wherein R and R' are each hydrogen or a 1-8C alkyl; n is 2-18; and m is 2-6).
