PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide environmentally friendly disposable footwear and the like which are hygienic with excellent cushion properties, air-permeability, and antibacterial properties and easy to dispose of after use. SOLUTION: Footwear and the like are made from a cellulose acetate biodegradable foam sheet 1, which contains free acetic acid, and a wrinkled foam sheet is suited for it. More preferably, the foam sheet has a reinforcing sheet 2' such as paper or nonwoven fabric affixed to its surface and a slip-proof sheet 2 combined with the reinforcing sheet affixed to its bottom surface, and it is suitable as the sock liner of a shoe and a slipper.
