PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain DNA which kills a bacterium by transducing into its chromosome by chemically modifying DNA so that the bacterial DNA-repairing enzyme system can not repair, or by inducing the destructive DNA-repairing, as an alternative to the conventional method for treating an infectious disease by a bacterium using an antibiotic agent. SOLUTION: This DNA is obtained by, differently and plurally, chemically modifying DNA so that the bacterial repairing enzyme system cannot finish the repairing, preferably by inducing the destructive DNA-repairing so that a DNA-repairing enzyme can recognize but cannot finish the repairing, more preferably by modifying so that the DNA can be integrated into the genome of a bacterium such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, for example by infecting by integrating into a bacteriophage.
|
