PROCESSING METHOD FOR HUB UNIT AND HUB WHEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize good mountability of a disc rotor for a hub wheel in a hub unit. SOLUTION: Serrations are formed also in the piercing hole 13 of a flange 12 of the hub wheel 2 to have a bolt 14 formed in serration engaging shape for the piercing hole 13. In regard to the serration engaging shape, one of the serrations is allowed to slightly eat into another serration. Thereby a flow of pad part by plastic deformation can be suppressed small to minimize swelling of the flange to its outer end face. Consequently, the disc rotor 6 can be brought into close contact with the outer end face of the flange 12.
