PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-fed rotary press of the same type to stabilize quality during a coating step and to remarkably reduce a dirt of a coating liquid by in the press having a multi-color printing unit and at least one coating unit. SOLUTION: At least one coating unit 13 is provided at a rear side of a printing unit 12. The each unit 13 has an inking roller 3, and a cleaning doctor mechanism 8 brought into contact or separable from the roller is provided. The mechanism 8 is provided forward of a distributing mechanism 20 in a rotating direction of the roller 3.
