PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for lining a pipe line which enables the introduction of a lining material from a manhole into the pipe line by decreasing the size of the lining material when a pipe line of a large diameter is repaired while keeping the short working time and high efficiency of a soft lining method. SOLUTION: The introduction of lining materials 2a, 2b from a manhole is made possible by decreasing the width sizes of them by using the uncured flexible lining materials 2a, 2b impregnated with a thermoplastic resin, the total width size of which is made longer than the circumferential size of a pipe line to be repaired and applying the materials 2a, 2b one by one on the inside of an existing pipe 1 so that the width direction of the materials 2a, 2b coincides with the circumferential direction of the pipe line, and both width end parts of them are laid to overlap each other.
