PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitating/mixing device capable of appropriately and rapidly agitating/mixing culture soil, etc., even if almost a volume of the culture soil, etc., equal to the volume of the vessel is put into the vessel of the agitating/mixing device. SOLUTION: The agitating/mixing device is constituted of a cylindrical body formed in a freely rotatable manner and a plurality of rotary shafts arranged along the inside of the cylindrical body and having an agitating/mixing member. Here, the rotary shafts having the agitating/mixing member are preferably arranged at the corner part of the inside of the cylindrical body, and the agitating/mixing member is made preferably of a screw auger. Moreover, the cylindrical body is preferably formed so as to have a cylindrical cross section.
