PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank having good assembling workability, capable of joining plural panels constituting the fuel tank without the need of work for forming a positioning hole and blocking up the positioning hole. SOLUTION: In this fuel tank 1 formed by joining an outer half 2 and an inner half 3 which are panels, an overlapping part of the outer half 2 and the inner half 3 is provided with locking parts 13A, 13B where outlet parts 7a, 8a of tank inner pipes 7, 8 are locked. The outer half 2 and the inner half 3 are respectively provided with overlapping flanges 4, 5 respectively extended in the opposite directions to form the overlapping part. The overlapping flanges 4, 5 are provided with locking grooves 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b formed extending inward from the outer edges 4e, 5e of the overlapping flanges, into which the outlet parts 7a, 8a of the tank inner pipes 7, 8 are fitted.
