PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To most characteristically provide a ligator for an endoscope capable of easily confirming the shape and size of the fitting part where the clip in the end operational part of the ligator body is inserted, capable of preventing the fitting operation of the clip in the state the cylindrical member at the end of the sheath is deformed, and capable of securely carrying out the bite and knoting to the organism tissue, or the separation therefrom. SOLUTION: The ligator for the endoscope is provided with a gauge part 23 for confirming the shape and size of the foremost end member 13 to which the clip 3 in the end operational part 4 is inserted and provided to the operational part 5 of the base end part of the inserting part 2.
