SOLUTION: An oil pan fastening part 64 to fasten an oil pan formed in a belt-form shape at the lower peripheral edge of a lower block 60 is provided with an internal displacement part 65 internally displaced approximately in an intermediate position in the direction of a crank shaft and formed in a curved state to approach a filter mounting part 62 to the crank shaft. The lower block 60 is provided with bearing fixing beams 66A-66E to fasten a bearing part to pivotally support the crank shaft. An oil passage 70 on the side situated upper stream from an oil filter connected to a filter inlet oil passage 69 formed in the filter mounting part 62 from the front side of a lower block and having a passage central line positioned on the external side of a lower block side wall and on the external side of a mounting hole 68 on the external side of the front side in an axial direction of a crank shaft is formed in a lower block side wall on the front side in the direction of a crank shaft spreading to the external side of the oil pan fastening rail part 64.
