METHOD FOR LINING INTERIOR SURFACE OF HOLLOW STRUCTURE, AND BAND-LIKE MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly and easily line the interior surface of a hollow structure having angular portions, by coupling cylindrical bodies together. SOLUTION: The method for lining the interior surface of a hollow structure 1 is comprised of two steps. In the first step, a plurality of flexible cylindrical bodies 20 each having a cross sectional shape including angular portions 22 conforming to angular portions 2 of the internal periphery of the hollow structure 1, are formed, and they are arranged such that an opening of each of the structures 1 faces a direction of extension of the hollow structures and that the angular portion 22 of the cylindrical body 20 conforms to the angular portion 2 of the hollow structure 1. In the second step, the cylindrical bodies 20 adjacent to each other are connected together.
