PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, low-priced sheet attaching device for sheet shutters which can perform sheets assembling work for a take-up drum very efficiently and simply without requiring great efforts or without removing the sheet case. SOLUTION: In a sheet shutter attaching method in which the lifting operation can be performed along a lifting passage for supporting a take-up drum 3 at both the sides of sheet 2, the sheets 2 in a state of accumulation downward after being removed from the take-up drum 3, the base portion of the sheet 2 is attached and fixed to the take-up drum 3 after coupling a core member 21 located in the upper stage of the sheet 2 and the take-up drum 3 are coupled together in a linking and detachable manner through the rope 9, and then the take-up drum 3 is rotated normally thereby pulling up the sheet 2, the base portion of the sheet 2 is attached and fixed to the take-up drum 3. Also, the sheet 2 in a state of removed from the take-up drum 3 is provided in such a manner that the upper portion of the sheet 2 in a state of being removed from the take-up drum 3 can be provided in a switching state between a stopper attitude in the lifting passage and stopper release attitude in the lifting passage, and the sheet 2 supported above the rope 9 is temporarily supported by the sheet attaching device constituted with the rope 9 and a receiving device 90.
