PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous annealing method of a steel strip, with which the pick-up on the roll surface in a furnace can be prevented even when the ratio of a high tension steel plate is high, and a continuous annealing device. SOLUTION: When the steel strip is annealed in the continuous annealing furnace, after cold rolling and washing by dipping into washing liquid in a dipping tank, an iron content in the washing liquid is regulated to <=50 ppm.
