PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress spring-out of waste when the waste is crushed by a drum crusher attached to a hydraulic shovel and to perform a crushing/cutting operation and a filtering operation jointly. SOLUTION: This drum crusher is constituted in such a manner that a drum cutter 15 is freely rotatably attached to a shaft in a frame storing the waste, rotationally driven by a hydraulic motor 20 fixed to the frame, on the other hand, a fixed vane 25 alternately engaged with blades 22 disposed projectingly on the outside surface of the drum cutter is attached to the upper part of a discharge port disposed on the frame, at the same time, a press plate 30 of a lever type which forces the waste in the frame to the side of the drum cutter is attached to the frame and the press plate is operated by a driving means disposed on the frame.
