PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet of a new constitution wherein required performances as an ink jet recording medium can be made compatible at a high dimension, and which is especially suitable to be used as a label by laminating a transparent film on the surface, right after an ink jet recording. SOLUTION: This recording sheet is constituted by providing an ink-accepting layer in order to record a printed image by an ink jet method, on a base material film. In such a recording sheet, the ink-accepting layer contains polyvinyl alcohol(PVA), polyvinylpyrolidone(PVP), a crosslinking agent which selectively crosslinks PVA, a PVA-polyester copolymer, and a cationic resin. Preferably, to the total weight of PVA, PVP and the PVA-polyester copolymer, PVA is blended by 5 to 30%, polyvinyl alcohol is blended by 40 to 70%, and the PVA- polyester copolymer is blended by 5 to 50% by the solid component ratio. |
