<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a switch back capable of being smoothly braked when a switch back is operated during the traveling of an industrial vehicle. SOLUTION: A transmission 3 operationally connected to a torque converter 2 of an engine-type forklift truck comprises a forward clutch 8 and a backward clutch 9. A controller 41 controls a clutch valve 10decelerating zone to the stop of a vehicle when the switch back operationfor switching a shift lever 31 from the forward position to a backwardposition, or from the backward position to the forward position isdetected during the traveling of a forklift truck. Further the lockingof driving wheels 5 is detected on the basis of the rotating accelerationof the driving wheels 5 obtained from a detected value of a speed sensor17 during the deceleration, and a kind of ABS(antiskid brake system)control is executed for weakening the clutch engagement pressure ofthe shift side clutch when the locking of the driving wheels 5 isdetected.</p> |
