<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gas treating device and treating method for detoxifying the environmental hormone of a harmful material such as halogenated arom. compound such as dioxins contained in the waste gas discharged from all kinds of incinerators, pyrolysis furnaces, melting furnaces, etc. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a dust removing layer 13 where the first adsorbent 12 for removing dust components in the waste gas 11A from the incinerator is freely moved to the almost orthogonal direction to the waste gas passing direction, an adsorption layer 15 where the second adsorbent 14 for adsorbing the harmful material in the waste gas 11A passed through the dust removing layer 13 is freely moved to the almost orthogonal direction to the waste gas passing direction, a screening means 18 for removing the dust components stuck to the first adsorbent at the outside and for reusing the adsorbent, a regenerating means 19 for eliminating the harmful material from the adsorbent and also for regenerating the adsorbent and reusing by heating to 250-300 deg.C, and a catalytic device 20 for decomposing the eliminated harmful material by catalytic function.</p> |
