PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for adjusting a new immersed tube height with respect to an existing immersed tube to carry out a work to adjust the height of the new immersed tube at a low cost in a short time without any works by divers. SOLUTION: In joining the new immersed tube 10 in an extended arrangement with respect to the existing immersed tube 11 which is already installed, a lower jack support base 12 is projected from both side surfaces of the existing immersed tube 11, an upper jack support base 12 is projected from both side surfaces of the new immersed tube 10, the new immersed tube 10 is lowered with a jack 14 for height adjustment supported, the upper jack support base 13 is supported via the jack 14 on the lower jack support base 12, and the height of the new immersed tube 10 is adjusted by the jack 14.
