PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated polyester resin composition that can give moldings resistant to surface crack upon impact, a sheet molding compound, and a molding prepared therefrom. SOLUTION: Provided are an unsaturated polyester resin composition essentially consisting of an unsaturated polyester resin, a polymerizable monomer, a thermoplastic resin, an inorganic filler, and a silicone rubber; a sheet molding compound obtained from the composition; and a molding obtained by thermoforming the compound under pressure.
