PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhalation port for a vacuum cleaner which does not oscillate and can stably move during work, is smaller in the number of constitution parts, is simple in construction and is easy to assemble. SOLUTION: An inhalation port body 100 formed with an inhalation hole at its base surface is vertically/laterally and freely rotatably connected to a connecting pipe 200 which is an extension pipe of the cleaner. A connecting means is composed of a hemispherical mounting part 310 which is extended and formed integrally at the center on the rear end of the inhalation port body, a guide ring 320 which is fitted into a sliding groove at the inner peripheral surface and a hemispherical coupling part 330 which is provided with a pair of hinge projections 331a and 331 inserted into a pair of hinge holes 321a and 321b integrally formed at the connecting pipe and is mounted at the hemispherical mounting part 310.
