PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a petri dish stacker which is capable of stacking and orderly and compactly housing a plurality of petri dishes to cordinate and store and facilitating the putting in and out of the petri dishes. SOLUTION: A plurality of metallic supporting rods 2A to 2D are perpendicularly erected at nearly equal intervals on the central side on a base table 1 composed of metallic rods. The stacker is provided with a plurality of petri dish holding members 3A to 3D which are disposed with a pair of horizontal ring rods 31 and 32 of a semi-circular shape composed of the metallic rods and formed to nearly a semi-circular shape at a size corresponding to the size of the petri dishes so as to face each other apart a prescribed distance in a vertical direction and are connected with the opposite ends of both ring rods 31 and 32 with perpendicular connecting rods 33 and 34. The respective holding members 3A to 3D are arranged back to back and the inner side parts of both ring rods 31 and 32 are fixed and mounted to the prescribed supporting rods among the supporting rods 2A to 2D, by which petri dish housing sections 36 regulating the lateral movement of the petri dishes with the supporting rods and both connecting rods 33 and 34 is constituted.
