PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a thermosetting type powder paint composition that has excellent storage stability, acid resistance, the finished appearance. SOLUTION: The objective thermosetting powder paint composition comprises, as essential components, (A) an epoxy group-bearing vinyl resin of 30 deg.C-100 deg.C glass transition point, containing 20-70 wt.% of an epoxy group-bearing vinyl monomer as a radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer constituting a vinyl resin and (B) a polyester polycarboxylic resin bearing two or more urethane bonds on the average, two or more cyclohexane ring on the average and two or more chain-terminal carboxyl groups on the average in one molecule.
