DEFOAMING AGENT PREPARATION AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defoaming agent preparation which is based on a siloxane base and has an improved effectiveness for a heavily foaming high temperature alkali medium generated on the production of pulp. SOLUTION: This defoaming agent preparation contains (A) a defoaming agent based on a siloxane and (B) 0.1 to 40 wt.% of a polyetherpolysiloxane copolymer of the general formula (I).
