<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder capable of preventing overload of sheet materials without impairing a user's convenience in operation, and an image forming device. SOLUTION: The bottom of a cassette case 20 detachable from a sheet feeder is provided with a lifter 31 rotationally movable on one line on the bottom of the cassette case 20. A downward cam is provided on the bottom of the lifter 31. An upward cam is provided on the bottom of a mounting port of the cassette case 20 in the sheet feeder for rotationally moving the lifter 31 in engagement with the downward cam. In mounting the cassette case 20, overloaded sheets can be easily pushed out by using a height restricting plate 30.</p> |
