<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous adsorbent excellent in adsorptivity and which is hardly changed with time by forming a porous cement hardened body containing a zeolite-like material from a cement slurry mixed with a powdery or granular mineral material consisting essentially of silica and alumina. SOLUTION: A cement slurry consisting of 70-150 pts.wt. water, based on 100 pts.wt. cement, and 5-50 pts.wt. powdery or granular mineral material with silica and alumina as the main components is formed. The slurry is successively cured at atmospheric pressure and high temperature, and then cured at high pressure and high temperature and made porous to obtain the adsorbent.</p> |
