PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial horizontal articulated robot capable of freely selecting an installing way by convenience of the equipment side by arranging plural installing surfaces in a body part of the horizontal articulated robot. SOLUTION: In this horizontal articulated robot, installing surfaces 6, 7, 8 installed on the equipment side are provided in a plurality in the body part 5, the installing surfaces 6, 7, 8 can be freely selected by convenience of the equipment side to accordingly select takeout ports 9 of wiring for connecting a robot body and a robot control device, wiring and air piping for controlling a robot peripheral device in a plurality.
