PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp device capable of reducing the cost, a size and a weight, simplifying the operation control, improving the durability, setting a clamping position at a place separated from a pneumatic cylinder, and executing the clamping even at a narrow place by reducing the size. SOLUTION: When the pneumatics is supplied from a load side port 4 into one pneumatic cylinder 1, an unclamping state where a piston rod 6 and a plunger 11 are retracted, and a clamp arm 15 takes an unclamping attitude to a clamp fixing head 14, is obtained. When the pneumatics is supplied from a head side port 5, an advancing unclamping state where the piston rod 6 and the plunger 11 are advanced, and the clamp arm 15 takes the unclamping attitude, is obtained. When the pneumatics is supplied from both parts 4, 5 at load side and head side, the plunger 11 is advanced, the piston rod 6 is retracted, and the clamp arm takes an advancing clamping attitude for a clamping attitude.
