PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifreeze faucet post capable of removing or changing a changeover valve as it is buried. SOLUTION: A joint pipe 33 connected to pipes is mounted to the lower part of a post member 3 constituted of an upper side pipe 5 and a lower side pipe 7, and a base 30 having a through-hole in the center is fixed to the post member upward thereof. A changeover valve 11 is provided upward thereof. The changeover valve is borne on an upper cap 63 mounted on the post member through spindle holding 51, riser 75, bonnet elbow 77 or the like. Shafts 95 and 97 are provided, and the lower ends of them are fixed to a base with screws, the upper ends are fixed to the upper cap 63 with bolts 98a and b. A cut-off valve body 41 is energized by a spring 49 and is placed between the base and joint pipe. When the bolts are removed, the changeover valve is removed together with the upper side pipe, and in that case, the cut-off valve body blocks the through-hole of the base to cut-off.
