PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a rate of reduction treatment and a quality of the product by adjusting the supplying amount of air for secondary combustion according to the reduction treating condition in a producing device of reduced iron. SOLUTION: The charging quantity Wp of pellet is calculated by a computing element 70 based on the weight of green ball GB measured with a load cell 38 at a heating zone A in a reducing furnace 19. A setting wicket air flowing amount Qw0 is set according to this pellet charging quantity Wp by a converter 71. Then a flow rate control valve 78 is operated by a flow rate controller 73 based on the set wicket air flow rate Qw0 and the actual wicket air flow rate Qw1 obtained from the value measured by an orifice flow meter 76 to adjust the actual wicket air flow rate Qw1 on a wicket air supplying line L3.
