PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for high-frequency welding which has such characteristics as to generate heat by a high frequency and which, when used for forming a layer of it or a layer of a blend containing it on at least a part of the surface of a polyolefin substrate, makes the substrate high-frequency- weldable to various members. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by copolymerizing (A) a compound represented by the formula [wherein X is a single bond, O or O(CH2)nO (wherein n is 1-12); R1 is H or CH3; and R2 is CN, (CH2)mH or O(CH2)mH (wherein m is 1-12)] with (B) an olefin polymer having the molecular ends modified with free-radically polymerizable double bonds.
