PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rolls in a roll-housing box from turning in the rewinding direction when a band-shape article of the roll which is housed in the roll- housing box, is pulled out and cut. SOLUTION: A box body 1 has a take-out window hole 4, from which a band-shape article 5a of a roll 5 is pulled out, on the side wall. On a flap 2a of such a box body 1, a flap window hole 10, through which the band-shape article 5a is passed, is provided. Then, this roll-housing box is constituted in such a manner that the band-shape article 5a is passed in the take-out window hole 4 through the flap window hole 10.
