PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vow making device at a low cost which allows a user to read aloud without anxiety guided by a sound generating and recording device by setting an aloud reading time by the sound generating and recording device such as a radio cassette tape recorder simply operated by anybody and which allows the user to mentally feel satisfaction of having prayed by bright illumination. SOLUTION: The feature of this vow making device is mounting a sound generating and recording device such as a radio cassette tape recorder is mounted within an openable and closable box, placing a creation in the form of joined hands for praying on the top of the box and fitting a ring form arranged with a plurality of glass fibers at proper positions is fitted on the rear surface of the creation so that the plurality of glass fibers are lighted linked with the sound generating and recording device such as the radio cassette tape recorder by automatically or manually inputting power.
