PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for an electrically-driven elevating- lowering cabinet of which the height of the elevation and lowering becomes the same at all times without any height adjustment and which is used for general purposes and not reduce the housing capacity of the cabinet. SOLUTION: A driving device 28 constituted of a parallelly arranged first driving unit 30 and second driving unit 32 and a rotation synchronizing shaft 34 which connects both driving units 30 and 32 so as to synchronize them is housed in a riser part 12 arranged underneath a kitchen cabinet 10. Therefore, the height of elevation and lowering of a first-fourth flange nuts 42, 46, 62, and 66 becomes the same at all times. In addition, the driving device 28 is applicable to various cabinets without a cabinet specifically designed for the driving device 28 and is used for general purposes. As the driving device 28 is compact and housed in the riser part 12, the driving device 28 has the advantage of not reducing the housing capacity of the kitchen cabinet 10 as much as possible.
