PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin powder for molding which is free from the separation of a filler, is excellent in characteristics, such as flowability and apparent density, generally important in handling a powder, and gives a molded PTFE article having a high elongation conventionally unachievable. SOLUTION: This resin powder for molding comprises 35-98 wt.% polytetrafluoroethylene powder having an average particle size of 120μm or lower, 35-2 wt.% heat-resistant aromatic polyoxybenzoyl ester resin powder, and 30-0 wt.% inorganic filler, has an apparent density of 0.6 g/cm3 or higher and an average particle size of 800μm or lower, and gives a molded article having an elongation at break of 20% or higher.
