For the non-invasive determination of a concentration of a component in blood, in particular for the determination of the concentration of blood sugar, an electric coil (L) arranged at the body is periodically operated with current pulses. After the current pulses, the voltage (UL) over the voltage is determined. It is found that the temporal evolution of this voltage (UL) depends on the concentration of the components to be measured if the frequency of the current pulse corresponds to an experimentally determined resonance frequency. The measuring method can e.g. be carried out by a device designed as wrist watch. |
