Measuring current consumption of public electricity supply consumers - using additional audio frequency controlled display with signalling unit

The measuring method for current consumption involves the use of one or more current consumption meters installed in the user's system. The meter integrates the current consumed with time and drives an indicating counter mechanism. The method enables an indication of a threatened power supply company overload to be given to each consumer to enable appliances to be switched off accordingly. The comparing display also shows each customer's consumption. Each consumer has a second counter and an audio frequency controller connected to the controlling company system. The second metering system is switched on at optional times. It has an associated optical and/or acoustic signalling unit and a display recording the number of times it is switched on.
