Drive control for instant picture camera - has safety clutch to engage winder only after shutter has been released

A drive control for an instant picture camera has a safety clutch which links the drive to the film winder, shutter setting drive and flash lever drive, only after the shutter has been released. Once the camera is reset for the next exposure the drive lever is free to move without damaging the drive. The drive control has a clutch wheel pulled into gear by a spring when the shutter is released. The inertial flash lever and the film winder are operated by the same drive as the film winder and process rollers. The camera drive controls are operated by the same manual lever and provide a simple lay-out at low cost.
