INLAID STRIP USING RESIN IMPREGNATED GRAVURE PRINT PAPER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An inlaid strip and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify the process of working by substituting resin impregnated gravure print paper for natural pattern wood. CONSTITUTION: The inlaid strip is manufactured by gravure printing various desired patterns(2) on a raw paper(1) of pH 6.8 to 7.3 containing titanium of 15 to 40 percent; impregnating the gravure print paper mounted around a roll core with a melamine resin(3) in a first impregnating vessel; removing the resin from both surfaces of the paper by contacting a knife to the paper; drying the surface of the paper with an infrared heater; impregnating the paper in a second impregnating vessel so as to the resin to be impregnated to the inner tissue of the paper; secondarily drying the paper; cooling the dried paper to a desired temperature; and cutting the resin impregnated gravure print paper into a desired size.
