PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a banding system of two-shift type ink jet print head in which lowering of print quality due to difference of dot size between preceding odd nozzle ejection and following even nozzle ejection is eliminated. SOLUTION: In the banding system, print quality is improved by varying the feeding amount in sub-scanning direction such that the print dot of an odd nozzle is followed by the print dot of an even nozzle having a smaller size, without fail, thereby averaging the dot size in print results as a whole.
