<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a greenish good-quality pigment composition at low cost by incorporating a crude copper phthalocyanine with a resin within a specified range of proportions and by incorporating the resin with a solvent within a specified range of proportions followed by conducting a dry grinding. SOLUTION: This pigment composition is obtained by incorporating (A) a crude copper phthalocyanine with (B) 1-200wt.% of a resin (pref. a rosin- modified phenolic resin) and (C) 0.5-20wt.%, based on the component B, of a solvent (pref. a solvent for printing ink) followed by conducting a dry grinding. The components B and C may be incorporated separately from each other, or the component C may be incorporated in the component B, in advance. A printing ink can be prepared by adding this composition to a solvent or varnish for printing ink followed by carrying out a treatment.</p> |
