PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an X-ray image of a subject hardly affected even when excessive X-rays get incident directly on both sides of the subject and the like. SOLUTION: A bias voltage is applied to sensor picture elements E of an X-ray face sensor 1 from a variable electric power source 10, trigger signals are transmitted in order from gate wires 71-75 of a gate driver circuit 2 arranged horizontally (row-directionally) to transistor switches of the picture elements E, charge signals generated in the picture elements E in response to incident X-ray intensity are taken in order into a reading amplifier circuit 3 through data wires 61-65 arranged vertically (column-directionally) to be output as a two-dimensional image data to an outside.
