SUBSTANCE: hydraulic classifier has separating pipe mounted at angle relative to level and pulsator for control of pulse parameters. Arranged between pulsator and lower end of separating pipe is liquid flow regulator provided with check valve and closing delay unit for control of relationship between forward and reverse flows and guide vanes for change of liquid flow velocity. This regulator forms turbulence at one direction and intensively roils starting material at other direction of flow, thus separating the heavy fraction from light one.
