PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus by which dioxins, PCBs or the like as polymer molecules in an aqueous solution can be detected and by which various compounds can be analyzed in a short time, extremely efficiently and effectively in an analytical system as a whole. SOLUTION: In this interface, a sample which is sprayed by an atomizer is introduced to a mass spectrometer via a high-efficiency ionization means. The interface for the mass spectrometer is provided with a microwave resonator as the high-efficiency ionization means, and the sample is passed through a microwave plasma in a generated atomizer slipstream. In the interface for the mass spectrometer, a heater and a thermoelectron impact ionization source are provided as the high-efficiency ionization means, and the thermoelectron impact ionization source is installed in a differential exhaust or in a slipstrom in the differential exhaust. |
